We absolutely loved Sam's Lake House! It offers so much more than what we saw on the web site. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived. There was a neat stack of kindling and wood left beside the woodstove for us to use. Fresh clean dish towels, there were even flowers in a vase on the kitchen table. Very thoughful! The location was private yet close to everything we needed from groceries, to spa, to fine dining. There is even mountain biking with rentals just a short walk from the cottage. A great way to entertain the family during cooler days.

The beach was small but large enough for our children to have fun with their buckets and shovels. The lake bottom was sand and firm so the kids really enjoyed playing in the lake.

The cottage offered a surprising amount of privacy from neighbours. We loved this cottage and will definitely come back next summer. Our search for the perfect cottage rental is over!!!

What a heavenly location: large wide treed lot, amazing sunsets, and the beautiful cries of loons echoing across the glorious lake.
Previously reluctant swimmers found themselves in the water several times a day, and even at night.The dock was perfect for diving, and the shallow sandy bottom was perfect for wading.
Inside, the spacious cottage was ideal for our family of eight.
Beautifully furnished, with a games room downstairs, comfortable bedrooms, and lots of places for quiet relaxation, Sam's Lake House will always evoke fond memories of a slice of paradise.

Great spot to kick-back, relax and enjoy the great outdoors. The view of the lake/trees during the day and the stars at night were truly memorable. The kids loved the paddle boat, canoe and kayaks! The fire was cozy, despite a rainy Saturday. This is a wonderful place to stay. We had fantastic support from the owner and All Season Cottage Rentals Inc. We will definitely be renting again... Perhaps a winter snowmobiling getaway!

My boyfriend and I along with my 3 sisters and spouses stayed at Sam\'s Lake House. We went there to celebrate New Years Eve. It was absolutely perfect. The place was clean, very spacious, private enough and close to everything. We walked to the ski hill and looked around, visited Sam\'s Inn for a drink. The weather wasn\'t the greatest on New Years Day but the place offered enough space and things to do (like shuffleboard, bean bags) and especially the Hot Tub that there was something always to do. I would highly recommend Sam\'s Lake House and would definitely come back.

We wanted to come up for some snowmobiling and found the Lake House on the internet - it was just perfect...we had access to the trails so we could go in many directions, came home to a nice fire and a soak in the hot tub !! We were very comfortable, slept well, enjoyed some family dinners and just felt at home....highly recommended for a winter retreat!

Our group very much enjoyed Sam’s Lake House on Family Day Long Weekend. It is a true cottage experience!

Close to anything you could possibly want and need to do. There is an LCBO on the drive in which is very convenient. Sir Sam’s is just across the street which offers so much itself. Plenty of fire wood and games to keep one entertained.

The outdoor fire pit made for an amazing time and when it got too cold you could relax in the hot tub. Plenty of space however the basement was not used to its fullest potential as the upstairs was very cozy.

A great winter experience at a cottage plus we actually caught something when we went ice fishing!

A pretty spectacular view in the day time and to watch the sunset at night. (That was my favourite time after dinner on the deck)

Your so close to the lake when your standing in the cottage looking out the patio doors it looks like your actually in the water, your so close to the waters edge.

We loved having the grass area and the fire pit and the sandy beach, the unbelievably comfortable reclining lounge chairs on the deck, and the ones in the living room too. Would want to fall asleep everytime I sat in one of them!!!

My 2 daughters and I were up there all week then my Husband came up and our other 2 daughters, son in-law and 2 grandchildren were there for 3 days it was wonderful that we were all together and were all comfortable. My parents came up for the last 2 days and thought it was such a beautiful spot. They had a cottage on Little Kennisis for 15 years and really miss being up in Haliburton. Two of my daughters and son in-law went to Sir Sams to mountain bike and had a great time. We all used the kayaks and paddle boat everyday. Went to the nice little island across the lake with the sandy beach that goes for about 20 feet out!!!!

It was a nice holiday...thanks to All Seasons for everything !
