This place is everything you dream of when thinking about 'The Cottage.' The neighbours are closer than you think, but are hardly ever heard, and only seen when you venture past the thicket of trees that surround you. The wrap around deck is long and deep, it became the focal point of every days activities. Tons of open space and very quiet at night. In a word...perfect!

This was our second stay at Mary Lu's Cottage. We really like the location - the lake is lovely with the loons. The other cottages are quiet. Our dog loved the freedom and the woods. Our kids play on the swing all day every day. The deck is a great place to read and eat meals. The dining room is wonderful for meals and games.

Only only complaints were that the hammocks were taken down this year (we missed them) and that the mattress in the smaller bedroom is really really hard - we ended up sleeping on the pull out couch.

Other than that we highly recommend this cottage and we look forward to returning next year!
