Our granddaughters - 5 & 8 - regard the Blue Cottage as the summer highlight. The beach is perfect - gradual entry - even my little 5 yr old could walk out pas the end of the dock. Enough beach to play in the sand - lots of water fun. Campfires every night - weather permitting. Daily visits from the family of ducks looking for bread is exciting. Other wildlife included loons, frogs, a toad and a turtle. For the adults, lots of room to relax when the young ones hit the sack. Booked next year again

Great waterfront and view! Cottage a little older but is comes with everything you need. Very friendly neighbors to the left.

I stayed at the cottage with my son who is three and my niece and nephew who were ten and twelve and we had a fabulous week. Waterfront is graded so don't have to worry about little ones falling in. Cottage was spacious and clean and close enough to Haliburton to make daily visits. Would definately rent again..
The only suggestion would be some fans in bedrooms as cottage was hot at night for sleeping.

We would go back again for sure, especially to experience those wonderful sunsets and marshmallow roasts down by the shore. The location is superb. Privacy is not great on the left, but no problem because the neighbors are so friendly. The boat launch asphalt is being eroded away, making beach access difficult, and that is our only serious complaint.
