We had an absolutely wonderful time at Withum Cottage. The owners were extremely helpful and ensured we had lots of information to make our visit thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage itself was spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and much more. The area is beautiful, the lake is clean and the residents are very friendly. Options for excursions include a beach a few minutes away in Gooderham, the Irondale Falls nearby which is a great place to picnic and explore and restaurants, shopping and a lovely park a little further away in Haliburton. Really, the entire family was thrilled with our holiday.

Great week at this cottage for our family of four. Private location, quiet for half of the day. Most afternoons you get to enjoy skiers and tubes have fun on the lake. Would definitely go again. Cheers!

We had a wonderful time. Swimming was excellent. Boating was excellent. We had no problems launching and docking our ski boat. The lake is picturesque and had three decent sized bays for tubing/skiing. Fishing may be more of a reflection of our skill. The deck and dock are huge. Screened in porch (not shown) was great for reading and hiding from bugs. Excellent value.

This cottage lacked for nothing. The owners thought of everything one could need. It\\\'s not far from stores, gasoline stations and LCBOs. We so enjoyed the trails in the area and the friendly cottagers on the lake. We look forward to a future visit.

From the moment you arrived you felt welcomed the owners left a bottle of wine to welcome us it was well appreciated. The cottage is beautifully kept and the closed in patio was to relaxing to sit out and not get eaten by mosquitos. We had a amazing time and so did our English Bulldogs couldnt keep them out of the water. We will definately come back again was a great experience.

We had an awesome stay at Driftwood. There was always plenty to do both in and around the cottage and interesting spots locally. We went tubing, canoeing, paddle boating, walked on top of the Haliburton Forests, visited the worlds smallest book store, saw the wolfe reserve, scoped out the local theatre and soaked up the sun. The bbq'd dinners and lazy evenings in the screened in porch, safe from the bugs were just what the Doctor ordered :).

A wonderful cottage with everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Our family enjoyed our week away at Driftood, especially the fireplace, canoe and paddleboat, large deck and relaxing on the dock.
