Payment Options

We accept cheques, money orders, wire transfers, cash, or payment via Interac money e-transfers. Sorry, we do not accept credit card payments at this time.

We require a booking deposit (1/3 of the rental amount plus $75 administrative fee) up front to process your application and reserve the cottage in your name.

The balance is due thirty days prior to the start of your holiday. This payment is to include the balance of the rent due plus a $500 security deposit. We encourage you to provide us with a post-dated cheque at the time of booking for this final payment.

A cheque will be mailed to you to refund your security deposit once the following conditions have been met:

  1. you have checked out of the cottage
  2. cottage has been checked by the cottage owner or representative to ensure no additional cleaning and/or repairs are required
  3. cottage telephone bill has been received unless the cottage has a block on long distance phone calls.

Security deposits are refunded 10 days after you check-out of the cottage unless we need to wait for the telephone bill to arrive. If we need to wait for a telephone bill, you may have to wait up to 40 days for the return of your deposit.
