Our hosts, Jack and Ann were most accommodating and very very nice. The cottage is actually on the second floor, which isn't very clearly stated, but is modern, fully appointed and immaculate. The deck is very large and has a large bbq. We didn't mind the steps to the lake, as the view from below is great, and the water clean and cool. There is a very nice deck at the water, and our hosts also offered free use of the row boat, paddle boat and kayak. Our family had a wonderful time!

We were both immediately surprised to see how beautifully well kept the entire property and cottage are. first thought was that this place was an amazing value.
we really appreciated that it was on the second story as it offered a beautiful view and a private enclosed deck, which meant there was nowhere for the dog to escape off to.
we quickly realized that we had over packed when we took a look at the kitchen. it was complete with pots and pans, cutting boards, can openers, knives even baking supplies.
we are both in food industry and love to cook and the kitchen was more than enough for our needs. we also loved our bbq!
this was just one of the many ways that Jack and Anne would prove to be the most accommodating hosts. the cottage was loaded with all the creature comforts of home from satellite, dvd player and movies, board games and cards, to wine glasses, frosty beer glasses and even a telescope for star gazing!
the water was clean and warm and the dock was perfect for fishing or reading. the dog loved to swim in the shallow water and even enjoyed the canoe which was included.
the bug zapper on the deck was a nice touch and we appreciated it at night when bbq'ing a late night snack.
overall we enjoyed ourselves very much and are already thinking of ways we can get out of work to get back.

Honeymoon week of relaxation

We spend the week after our wedding relaxing at this amazing cottage. It was a perfect getaway for us. I recommend this cottage over any cottage I've been to. The owners are on site but they are so quiet and very pleasant to talk to. The view from the deck is breath taking especially as the colors of fall were coming out. We plan on coming back with friends in the spring. Looking forward to seeing Jack and Ann again!!
